Liza Zapol

Liza Zapol captures the sounds of memory, from their lips to your ears. Working in sound and performance, she touches on the themes of memory, community, and identity, and her passion is to share stories in surprising, bite sized ways. Liza works with cultural institutions to preserve valuable stories, and creates dynamic content to share with their audiences. Her work has been featured at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Lower East Side Tenement Museum, and she has conducted oral histories for many museums and organizations. Liza received her M.A. in Oral History at Columbia University. Certificate from the London International School of Performing Arts. B.A. with honors from Northwestern University.
