Black Folk Don't is an acclaimed web series directed by Angela Tucker. The series explores the grey areas between stereotype and truth with a spirit of irreverent inquiry.

In some cases, "Black folk don't [fill in the blank]..." is a statistical fact. Black folk don't go to the doctor in the numbers they should. In other cases, "Black folk don't..." is an anecdotal idea and concept that is based on a negative stereotype. Season One featured episodes such as Black Folk Don't: Tip and Black Folk Don't: Do Yoga.

You can watch the Season Two trailer here.
