Angela Tucker is a filmmaker and also a member of the CBBG oral history interviewing team.  Her excellent web series Black Folk Don't... has been featured at BHS events and we are very excited about her new project Just the Three of Us.

"Just The Three Of Us is a short fiction film about Regina, an African-American woman and Hank, a Caucasian man who have been married for 50 years. As with many long marriages, the passion quietly fizzled out a while ago so they made a radical decision, 'What about a threesome?' The short looks at the people who answer their Casual Encounters ad and through these meetings, they learn about their marriage and themselves... Making a film like this about an African American woman in her 70s exploring elements of sexuality and her societal given role as caretaker feels really exciting. As an African American woman herself, Angela Tucker knows how taboo discussion about sexuality is and she is interested in making a project that tackles that head on in an unexpected way."
