Most Commonly Spoken Language Other than English or Spanish

Slate's Ben Blatt used data from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey to create maps showing the most common languages per state.  

The most common language in almost all the states other than English is Spanish. When Blatt looked at common languages in each state other than English or Spanish, many more common languages were revealed, as illustrated by the map above. In New York, the third most common lanugage is Chinese. In California and Nevada, it's Tagalog. Navajo is the third most common language in Arizona and New Mexico...
