Introducing Nayantara Sen

July 18, 2013

Brooklyn Historical Society is pleased to announce that Nayantara Sen has joined the Crossing Borders, Bridging Generations (CBBG) team as Project Associate, supporting the oral history project & public programming series.

Nayantara brings a wealth of experience facilitating workshops and trainings around racial justice, which is a wonderful asset to CBBG.  As we continue to collect oral history narratives with mixed-heritage people and families, we will also come together to listen and discuss what these interviews tell us about our shared and differing experiences around race, ethnicity, cultural hybridity, citizenship, and identity.

Nayantara has many ideas for the Discuss section of this website so, stay tuned!

Read more here about Nayantara's work with Applied Research Center (ARC), Theater of the Oppressed, and her writing practice of decolonial storytelling. You can also find her on Twitter as @NayantaraS.
