Melissa Harris-Perry, professor of Political Science and MSNBC show host, discusses a recent Reuters poll that found that 40% of white Americans do not have a friend of another race.

The MHP panel, featuring comedians W. Kamau Bell and Lizz WinsteadTanner Colby, author of Some of My Best Friends Are Black; and poet Carlos Andrés Gómez, discusses interracial friendships, how people connect across the colorline, and what not to ask your black friend: "If you ask the hair question, you're not my friend," says comedian W. Kamau Bell.
