Comedians Key & Peele

Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele form the sketch comedy duo Key & Peele (Watch Key & Peele on Comedy Central). In this interview they talk about how their biracial experiences influence their comedy.

"Sometimes white moms have Black kids... I've always thought of myself as a Black comedian, African American man. Looking at it now, because it was easier, that's what people see, that's what people expect, that's what I am. " - Jordan Peele

"He and I voraciously love our mothers. So, where do they fall in the equation: If I'm supposed to be an African American, where does this little white woman, who gave me my life (and I'm adopted, which is a whole other story about sacrifice) - these women did so much work, where do they fall in th equation? That is something that really informs why we do our comedy the way we do it." - Keegan-Michael Key
